On Wednesday, the park was being given finishing touches. Trial runs for the giant wheel were under way. “Delhi Eye is India's highest giant wheel. Installed 5 metres above the ground, it has a diameter of 50 metre. Viewer cabins will reach up to 200 feet.
Even Connaught Place, Nehru Place, Lotus Temple and other parts of city will be visible. It will also give a glimpse of Noida,” said Tahir Rana, Director, Delhi Ride. "The ride will be our USP as viewers have never seen more than half of Delhi before," Rana added.
"The park will be inaugurated on September 27 by famous film actor Sharukh Khan. We have managed to complete it before Commonwealth Games. It will attract CWG visitors too," Rana said. Beautiful slides and other setups attract ones attention on the left of the giant wheel. "The water park has 12 different levels of strategically-planned slides to ensure splashes of enjoyment," Rana said.
